Good day to the fine FWC folks in Calgary! It seems like forever since I have put fingers to keyboard to tell you about an exciting new movie being released in Calgary...well, it's time to end the drought!

I'm very excited to tell you that Defendor, starring Woody Harrelson and Sandra Oh is being released in Calgary at the Uptown Stage and Screen on February 19. This movie is written and directed by Peter Stebbings. If you haven't had a chance to check out the trailer, you really should! You can find it both on the First Weekend Club website and at www.defendorthemovie.net. 

I hope you're all able to take time out from cheering Team Canada to support a Canadian film!
