On February 9th the CFC has put together a special event to coincide with Black History Month. The event focuses on "Celebrating the Black Experience in Cinema". It will include special guests Clement Virgo and Norman Jewison (whose also the founder of the CFC). There will be a discussion with the guests and a screening of "In the Heat of the Night". Apparently there will also be another "very special guest" who has not yet been announced. Interesting... tickets are on sale online.
