As producer of the lounge, I am especially excited to share that First Weekend Club will be hosting the "Canadian Film Lounge" at the Toronto International Film Festival this year:

The Lounge will serve as a swanky gift lounge and hub for TIFF filmmakers & talent, key industry delegates, celebrities, media, and other VIPs. By invitation only, The Canadian Film Lounge will be open for two days during the festival and will be the perfect place to unwind in style, sip drinks, discuss films, receive great swag, and most importantly: Discover Canadian films playing at the festival.

Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary services at FWC's Beauty Bar where Blo Blow Dry Bar will be getting guests red carpet ready with their blo-on-the-go menu of hairstyles, Elements Makeup will be doing makeup touch-ups, and Spa-direct will provide pampering treatments and much needed relaxation, melting away the stress that comes with a busy festival and dealmaking madness.

And since no film festival experience is complete without “swag,” Canadian companies will be showcased at the lounge and guests will get a chance to take home a gift bag filled with assorted products.

The Honey Mustard Closet will also be set up in the Canadian Film Lounge and will feature hand-picked fashion, jewelry, and accessories by talented Canadian designers. Top talent will be invited to discover unique local designers and pick out some great items from the closet to enjoy around TIFF and beyond.
