The First Weekend Club Canada Screens Series is a monthly screening and Talkback event aimed to please film lovers and people in search of new and engaging experiences. Canada Screens shares the best in Canadian Film within an intimate environment, bringing our special guests up-close and personal with film-goers, filmmakers, and creative audiences.

Vancouver: District 319 / Toronto: The Drake Hotel

This distinctly social setting takes place at Vancouver’s most sought after film theatre, District 319 and in Toronto at the city's cultural hotspot The Drake Hotel, both venues bringing with it a trendy, sophisticated vibe. Our audience will be treated to a post Talkback reception with refreshments and even the occasional wine tasting.

All seats for Gift Card Holders, Ambassadors, Sponsors & Partners must be claimed by 6:50 PM, after which unclaimed seats will be released for rush sales.

Welcome to Canada Screens! We know you will enjoy this exclusive pass to see Great Canadian Film, enjoy wine tasting and live entertainment.

Here is how it works.

1. The Gift Card is valid exclusively for use at First Weekend Club Canada Screens events, currently in Vancouver and Toronto.
2. Visit www.firstweekendclub.ca , browse our site, become a member for free, and receive monthly emails about the Canada Screens event show times. This will keep you in the loop.
3. Visit the Canada Screens section of the firstweekendclub.ca  website. Here will be information about the current/upcoming event and about Canada Screens. Tell your friends!
4. If the next Canada Screens event looks of interest to you, RSVP by the RSVP CUTOFF DATE on our website (usually 5pm the Friday before the screening) to guarantee a ticket/entry with your Gift Card.
5. RSVP is simple - email vip@firstweekendclub.ca and include your first and last name, and the number of people who will be attending per gift card (more than one person may gain entry per Gift Card).
6. Show up to Canada Screens ready for a fabulous night, and make sure to have your gift card in tow. FWC guest services will be waiting at the end of the red carpet to check you in.
7. Enjoy the wine and entertainment at the reception. Sit back and escape into Canadian Cinema.
