Canada Screens: C'est Pas Moi, Je Le Jure! (Vancouver)

It's Not Me, I SwearEvent in Review: We promised it would be a night to remember and it was!  The night started with a pre-show wine reception and a live performance by guitarist and vocalist Danielle Hebert. It was a sold out show and the audience was delighted with Phillippe Falardeau's film and the inspiring talkback that followed.  All in all, it was a great night and wonderful way to end the season.

Wednesday, December 16th
District 319, Vancouver

We swear this will be a night to remember!

Advance Tickets are now Sold Out. Rush Tickets may be available at Door.

First Weekend Club's CANADA SCREENS Presents: a Screening and Reception of Canada's award-winning "C'EST PAS MOI, JE LE JURE!" (IT'S NOT ME I SWEAR!)

With live entertainment, wine reception, prizes and live Q&A via Skype with director Phillippe Falardeau.

On Wednesday, December 16th, you'll laugh, cry and cry laughing.  Canada Screens presents the heartbreakingly charming film, C'EST PAS MOI, JE LE JURE! (IT'S NOT ME, I SWEAR!).

Multiple award-winning director Philippe Falardeau ("Congorama") hits all the right notes with this quirky gem about a rampaging child menace, Leon Doré. (Antoine L'Écuyer).

At ten and growing up in the late 60s, Leon has many problems and an overly fertile imagination. When his mother abandons everything for a new life in Greece, Léon is prepared to do anything to kill the pain – destroy the neighbours' houses, become a professional liar, and even (why not?) fall in love with Lea, a most exasperating girl. Together, they will overcome the pain of growing up in abandonment.

The darkly hilarious "C'est Pas Moi, Je Le Jure!" is winning awards and over audiences from Quebec to Berlin. Experience it yourself. And if you spill some (complimentary) wine at our pre-show wine reception, just say: "C'est Pas Moi, Je Le Jure!" and we'll believe you...
