Imagine, if you will, a wild baby killer whale. A baby male orca named Luna, to be exact. When he gets separated from his family in a remote Vancouver Island fjord, the friendly orca seeks companionship from... humans. And their reactions are as varied as can be. They both love and fear him. Some believe him to be a chief's spirit, others think that he's just a silly whale. The conservationists see him as a cause. Scientists think that he's trouble - with a capital T. Others yet, think the gentle giant is in fact a dangerous one. And to filmmakers Suzanne Chisholm and Michael Parfit, he is the subject of a fascinating documentary and a symbol of the world's wildest beauty: wonderful to know, hard to save.
