As Executive Vice President, Filmed Entertainment for Cineplex Entertainment, Mr. Kennedy oversees all aspects of film programming, corporate sales and alternative programming for the company. Prior to joining Cineplex, Mr. Kennedy held senior management positions at Famous Players, Cineplex Odeon, Norstar Releasing and Astral FIlms. He is an industry veteran whose carrer has included roles in film and video distribution, theatre operations, advertising and film programming.

Mr. Kennedy currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Film Centre, the First Weekend Club and the Motion Picture Pioneers Association. He also serves on the Telefilm Advisory panel and is a member of the Hot Docs Film Festival Advisory committee.
