Whistler Film Festival – And the Awards Go to …

The Whistler Film Festival is one of my personal favourite festivals. Not only do they program some great movies (FWC’s Chair of the Board Paul Gratton is the programmer) but the location is second to none! The beautiful surroundings, pedestrian only village and the intimacy of the festival make for a unique and fun festival experience. They also offer great industry panels and bring in some fabulous speakers and special guests from across North America. Add the music showcase into the mix and wow, there’s lots of value to be had by attending this festival. If you missed it this year, make sure to put it on your calendar for next year – it always falls over the first weekend of December.
